Katie Melua- Just like heaven
We are getting married abroad and this will be for our first dance, at a reception on a greek taverna's rooftop terrace that looks out onto the sea. It has lovely mediterranean guitar chords, *sigh*.0 -
We have got our first dance song sorted but my gf wants another one where everybody else can join in. We are having answer by sarah mclachlan as our first dance.
I would like a Katie melua song, Just liek heaven would be good or thank you stars but she is not too keen.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -

You do know that Always is about a unfaithful guy asking for forgiveness?
I'm well conversant with Jovi songs (seen em 16 times since 1988), however my chap heard it on the radio (obv didnt listen TOO closely to the lyrics) and rang me up and demanded it be so.
In fact when looking at the lyrics of most powerballads they appear to come out of bad situations - mu suggestion is Don't wanna Miss a Thing0 -
walking down the aisle to pachelbels canon(played live) and first dance at the moment is to be metallica nothing else matters(cd).
I found this electric guitar version of canon online and it is fantastic, but a rock band cannot play background music for my little champagne reception so a no go for me but it is sooo cool, electric guitar gives me goosebumps.

Just listened to it again!I wish my venue was big enough to fit a rock band into."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
Little Miss Messiah I am walking down the aisle to the same music as you! I am in church though. Still not decided on a first dance song. Fifty something days to go I am threatening the indecisive OH with the Hokey Cokey if he doesn't agree to something or come up with something.0
