Hey - I am trying to find my walking down the aisle song... I think I am decided, but just wondered what you are all having as your aisle/first dance song?

our song is beautiful day by u2 but I have said I cannot have that song now its football song lol, I absolutley love eva cassidy songbird its beautiful so I think thats the one but if anyone knows the song would like your thoughts

I walked down the aisle to Pachelbels Cannon which you'll recognise if you hear it.

Our first dance was to Elvis' Can't help falling in love with you, some of the words being, "wise men say only fools rush in, but I can't help falling in love with you" we certainly didn't rush in, as we were together 8 years before we tied the knot.:rotfl:

If you getting married in church it would be a good idea to ask the organist what sort of music they can play, although they may be competent in playing classical music they might struggle with other sorts.

My first post of the wedding forum...hello!:hello:

FeeFeeDee - Elvis' 'Cant help falling in love' is going to be mine first dance too! :j Two main reasons (1) We get married 4 days short of having known each other for 9 years - very much 'fools rush in'! (2) This song was playing as we celebrated OH's last night in flat before moving into mine!

Not sure about rest of music yet although OH proposed to me to 'Chasing Cars' - have to get it in somewhere!
