X-Raying my funds...

Ok so I have my portfolios on HL and Morningstar
Now things that annoy me and make me unsure of who to look at;
Fund Prices - HL are obviously the people I have my funds with, but when looking to see what price the fund is at, which do I look at?
The X-Ray - according to Morningstar (who I use to look up funds) they say I have around 10% in emerging asia in my portfolio (example), however HL say that its around 1%. I am more towards morningstar because the geographical %s add up to 100%, whereas HL adds upto around 60% (where oh where is the other 40%!).
Am I right in thinking Morningstar > HL for looking at my portfolio??

I've always used Morningstar, but only because H-L's offering is brand new and maybe has teething troubles. On the other hand, I don't like Morningstar's tendency to get prices wrong and to be very slow on updates. I hadn't noticed that H-L's totals didn't foot. I'll have to take a look.0

Ok well currently the prices are now the same, I imagine its just during trading times, the time differences etc.
I also just added portfolio to Trustnet and, what a surprise, its also completely different. Fs.
They have "Money Market" for Region split which I was a little confused about... as its not really on an atlas!
I think I will use Morningstar and at least theirs make resonble sense!0 -
From what I recall the X-Ray with H-L only takes into account the location of shares and bonds that the funds hold, so if you have propery, cash and any other asset classes in there this could account for the 40% that appears to have gone missing.0

Yes I've got 11.4% showing in the "money market" region on the Trustnet portfolio scanner. I guess it does not differentiate between regions for holdings in cash. I also think there's a limitation of showing a maximum of 10 regions (or sectors, or asset types) - with the 10th entry defaulting to "other holdings".
I do like the Morningstar x-ray, but check what its excluding when it gives you the percentage breakdowns. It ignores at least two of my funds (Blk UK Abs Alpha and I think, CF Arch Cru).0 -
I only have 2 funds at the moment, I am trying to sort it out so when I want to choose my next funds I kind of diversify it a bit more.0
