in Credit cards
Hi Everyone,
Im new here so not sure if im posting in the correct please.
Can anyone help me? I have 2 credit cards which are running out of control as i cant keep up with the interest. Im out of work at the moment due to looking after my baby (11months old)
As i have fallen behind with a few of my payments i think i know have bad credit rtings, i tried to apply for an EGG card today and was rejected.
I despratly need to move my balances to a 0% to allow me to pay the debt off.
Between both cards i owe 4,000 pounds.
Currently using Lloyds Tsb platium and capital one.
Can anyone out there offer any advise as im at my wits end with trying to keep up with interest and late payments etc etc......
Thanx in advance
Louise

Sorry to sound cruel but you have no chance of getting a 0% credit card.
Prepare an Income and Expenditure (and post here if you want) but IMO you should ask someone like CAB to advise you.
Cut up the cards and come to an arrangement with CAB and credit cards companies for a repayment plan, even if this only a nominal sum each month.0 -
Absolutely, if you're missing payments then your credit rating isn't going to be good and will only get worse. You have little chance of getting a 0% balance transfer.
First priority is to cut back spending straight away to get yourself out of this mess.
ejones999 is right - cut up your cards so you're not tempted to run up more debt on them.
Have a look on the debt board and think about posting on there as well: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=76
