 Consumer Direct contacted me today and we had a little chat. I will now send a recorded delivery letter quoting the Sale Of Goods Act to the Managing Director of The Range with a copy to the local branch.
 I will give them 14 days and see what happens after that.0

 why bother sending one to the MD not like he or even his receptionist will read it. seems like a waste of postage to me.0

 Just recieved a letter from the same customer service advisor who offered the £100.
 If we visit our local store with the letter, we will get a full exchange! - Result.
