Try HSBC's Plus Account, normally £12.95 per month, on offer at half price at present. It gives us Worldwide Insurance at £2 less than that quoted by Flexicover, breakdown cover and 8% interest on our current account.
I had expected that they wouldn't cover OH who has diabetes 2 and hypertension, but all was fine.
We had been ripped off for years by Halifax with a supposed 10% discount for having three policies with them, then they would not cover my husband when he reached 65.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

He is 70. Has had a few heart attacks and a triple bypass, but no symptoms since the surgery in 2001. Is diabetic, insulin controlled, never been in hospital because of it. Rheumatoid arthritis for many many years, again well controlled on medication.
No business of any sort I am afraid. We are retired. We have European cover with Co-Op who insure him for all those things except the rheumatoid as that is the only thing he sees a Consultant/Specialist for. We shall have to be content with the joys of Europe I suspect. At least we are both fit enough to travel and enjoy it.0
