Hi everyone, made around £37 after fees so my total is up to £250.14 (still waiting for one item to be paid for), not a bad night although had one unsold and a couple that I got a let less that I expected, anyway I listed some more items but I have got more specialist items that I am going to put on a 10 day listing tomorrow night. How are you lot doing with collecting your items from around the house, so far this weekend I have hinted for the Wii (no go - although they hardly ever play it! ) Furtively been eyeing up my sons lego (must have at least 10 kilos worth!! - again a no-go), asked my husband for some of his books that seem to do well - again no. I am living with a couple of hoarders!!! mmm I am going to have to come up with a cunning plan I think. Anyway good luck all, speak to you soonEbay Challenge -£250.14/£450 by 19th March 2009 :cool:February NSDs - 0/16February - Make £5 a day - 0/£1400

I have made £50 on Amazon in a week & about £20 on ebay (after fees) so £10 a day.
The downside was that my car hit a hole in the road so 3 new tyres, £275.
I am livid with Walsall Council, all that work for nothing. It will take me years to get compensation off them.Tallyhoh! Stopped Smoking October 2000. Saved £29382.50 so far!0 -

Aaaargh my husband spent £5.40 of my money today:mad:, just checked ebay and he bought a car manual thingy, going to get him to transfer the money from his bank account otherwise I might have to kill him, I can see it now, yes your honour I lost control when he spent some money on Paypal you see I worked my butt off wrapping and posting and going to the post office where they sighed everytime I walked through the door, I had 17 watchers for one item and only got £1.19 for it and ebay are dragging their heels about refunding a fvf and it just MADE ME CRAZY. Instead of PMT as a defence I am going to use PET (Post Ebay Tension). I really need to get some sleep don't I? lol. Goodnight all.
PS I bet:money: wouldn't spend my precious ebay money!!Ebay Challenge -£250.14/£450 by 19th March 2009 :cool:February NSDs - 0/16February - Make £5 a day - 0/£1400 -

Hello mummy2mygirls welcome to our little group (or support system as I'm starting to think of it), congratulations on your news!! I don't have any experience of selling baby items but when I'm selling clothes I sell items that are particularly nice or BNWT individually with the more general items in a bundle (with the nicest item on the gallery picture as a hook!). If you're selling bundles I tend to get more when I put more than one picture as you can see things more clearly. Sunday and Thursday nights are busiest in terms of traffic (people browsing ebay), but if I were you I would think about the types of people who will be bidding on your items i.e. don't let it end in the morning and probably not between 6-8pm as they will be doing bedtime routines, I would probably try to end around 9pm if I were you. When you're selling in bundles try to keep to the same age and sell your winter clothing now, and leave the spring/summer clothing as long as you can (I know you're due in March so you can't leave it too long!), also make sure you say in your listing that you're selling other baby items and tell them to have a look - maybe offer a small discount in postage for multiple buys (you will save money on postage anyway). I have a 10 year old son and have been selling his clothes for a few years and I have found that if you're friendly in the listing you get more for the item. Finally put all information you can i.e. 100% cotton/20" long etc as it cuts down on questions and people think you know what you're talking about. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
Hi Ally, definetey get rid of that cc debt (I owe a lot more than that and I wish I had cut them up before it got to this stage so you're doing well to sort it out now), good luck and let us know how you're getting on. and welcome CiciBaltimore and good luck.
