Thanks Novagirl.
I think I need an 'ology to work all that out or maybe it's just my brain switching off. I will have a proper look tomorrow and see if it makes more sense then. Would you recommend getting Paypal account and, if so, what are the advantages?YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
"Doodledo and SusySu" - brilliant :T
(sorry, just saw the names together on the frontpage and the sound of them together made me smile - I'll get my coat now)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Hmm, I have my ups and downs with Paypal. It's secure but you are meant to send all your items by a traceable method to be fully covered if the buyer claims money back from you. Buyers tend to prefer Paypal because of the claim-back that they offer and that the seller(us!) don't get to know their personal bank details.
I don't mind accepting cheques personally as then I don't have Paypal fees on top. (I had to upgrade my Paypal account when I ran a business which meant more fees)Most of my items are fairly low value items which means I don't end up with much profit.
Might be worth you just looking at the Paypal fees and seeing if it is something for you0 -

I would love to join in with this, I have some old mobiles, a camera, books and a few other bits and bobs... soooo I'm going to aim for £200 by March please
I was thinking of listing the books on Amazon, never used it before, can I list my old camera on there too??:ASaving for my future...0 -
I had a look on Amazon today, I think you can only sell things that they already sell, if you know what I mean? so if they still sell that camera then you will be able to sell it and if they don't you won'tEbay Challenge -£250.14/£450 by 19th March 2009 :cool:February NSDs - 0/16February - Make £5 a day - 0/£1400

Great idea!
I've found 5 bags of junk I don't use but which is sellable - I'm aiming to raise a minimum of £100 a month from Ebay until it's gone!
Anything made on Ebay is to be paid straight off my debts...first one I'm aiming at now Money Shop has been exorcised is the RBS overdraft (have been having bad dreams about them withdrawing it so the sooner it goes the better!)
Am also going to shove the mountain of books in my spare room on to Amazon when I get time this week0
