Hi, am hoping one of you can help.
Have treated myself to above, and set it up to my home wireless network, no probs. But, I now want to set my notebook up to my wireless Lexmark X4550?
My question is how do I do so without being able to install software as I have no CDROM?
I thought I could download it from the Lexmark site, but, as I am running Linpus Linux, have no idea how to do this?
Would appreciate your help.

If you have another computer on the network with a cd drive you can "share" the drive.
I have just done this exact thing on my eeepc 901.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -

I do, but wouldn't know where to start?
Could anyone advise how to 'share' the drive in simple terms?

The drivers on lexmarks site only cover Windows and Mac O/S so i cant see what sharing a cd drive is going to achieve....

Ok.. first you will need to set up a home network between the 2 computers so that they can share files.
( its probrably best if you just search google for a how to to do that)
Once that is working then you can go onto the computer with the CD drive and click "my computer" then right click on the CD drive and click "sharing"
Then click "share this drive"
Once this is done you will be able to put a disc in the drive and see it from the other computer so you can install your software.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -

Sorry didnt notice that bit,( the 901 is loaded with XP)
but it is a simple way to overcome the no disc drive problem assuming your software is compatible with your OS.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -
GOOD CHOICE
I bought one a couple months ago (I went for XP) and love it
Sorry then I can not help with linux, but I found an AAO dedicated web site, and the people on there are experts and very helpful. So have a look there, search for what you want, and if it's not there, I am certain someone can answer
