Alternative cashback card to Amex?

Hey guys, this is my first post here after being a lurker for a while...
I pay off my last credit card balance at the end of the month and am looking to ditch my cards and get a cashback card for purchases.
Only thing is, I've been given a company credit card and it is already an Amex.
Is it worth me getting a 'personal' Amex and then another card for those that don't accept Amex or should I just go with a different card?
Are there any that provide 1% cashback? It seems like a lot of them have been withdrawn.
regards,
John

Hi John
That's what I do. I like Amex and I find their customer service to be very good.0 -
Smile do 0.5% cashback
Leeds BS have got a cashback card 1% til June and then 0.5%
ALso there are others with rewards schemes. For example I have a nectar amex which gives nectar points and a partnership card which gives me 0.5% back in John Lewis vouchers.Kavanne
