Are the extra points offers online usually valid in store too? I've just found an offer on the site for 500 extra points when you buy 2 selected Urban Decay products - I was intending on getting some eye primer before work tomorrow, so if the offer's valid I might just have to buy something else as well.0

Oh and my local store (Ipswich) had the Vtech Vsmile toy in with its 75% off stuff today. Toys are normally upstairs but this was downstairs with apart from that just tonnes and tonnes of wrapping paper. I bought one for just under a tenner, not realising that this is precisely what I tried to buy online when the 75% sale started but which only went down to 50% off on .com. They did not have this in the store when the 75% off sale started so have no idea where these have appeared from unless they are people's returned .com sale orders once people had realised that they only had 50% off? Anyway, there were three there today of which I bought one. Not sure if there'll be any left tomorrow as the SA i went to was quite interested in it too. Upstairs is now back to being devoted to baby stuff, buggies and the like whilst all the 75% off shelves downstairs are devoted to suncare!Make £2012 in 2012 member #88

When you phone boots.com, does it still give you the message saying the sale will definately be restarting when the problem is fixed? I am starting to doubt it ever will, considering all the complaints they are getting with broken, damaged missing stuff (including my own). If it were me I wouldnt bother, but they should at least go back to 50% off...0

Has anyone had this happen with their basket? Or is it one of the many new "glitches" since the sale?
I've put in two discount codes (one for £5 off £50 spend, one for 500 extra points) Both have been accepted & show in the basket BUT now there is a delivery charge shown, even though the order value is double the "free delivery" threshold!!
Items sub total:
Including VAT and giftboxing £85.49
Bonus Advantage Card points: 500
Total Advantage Card points you will earn: 820
Save £5 when you spend £50 or more on Boots.com -£5.00
500 points when you spend £50 or more on Boots.com
You have saved: -£20.18
Standard Delivery £2.89
Order Total (Including delivery charges) £83.38
Is it just cos I'm trying to be cheeky with using 2 codes?!! Are they trying to get some of their money back off me!? I've tried refreshing the basket, incase it had somehow totalled it below £40,but its still showing the above?
S xxEverything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:0 -

The S&G grab bag was showing in stock earlier today and I put 2 in my basket, I now have -2 . Brings back horrible memories of the day of the 75% sale and the dreaded generic error! I have now deleted it from my basket and vowed not to put it in their again if it comes back into stock again.
I know that I will though
:rotfl:now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -
i keep getting generic error, maybe they're putting the sale back on?!0

Yes I saw this offer in High Street Southampton yesterday so presume it should be in all stores. They still have reduced No 7 sun creams and nail varnishes but not much else sale wise - but still rows of empty shelves. They did have Pantene sachets and reduced HE so stocked up on extra points. Also spent blinkies on R&M brushes which worked out free.0 -

However, if I don't moisturiser properly, then ughThanks .......I will give this a whirl then...This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M.
