Suzi I didnt see anything in Stockport last time I was there, Market st had a shelf upstairs near the opticians with reduced no7 on still yesterday. There were lots of suntan lotions/preps etc and moisturisers/day creams/skin sorbet(?) and tonnes of nail varnishes and the odd twinkle lip gloss. I got a couple of the moisturisers last week at £5.63 so 63p with a blinky and this week they've gone up to £6.13 so still cheap but strange that reduced items get put up in price when their trying to clear them
    Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j

I doubt it chazzy2008. Last year some of the xmas gift sets reappeared around valentines day, then again for mothers day:rotfl: can anyone else remember this?

Thanks for the advice, i don't want to send them back though as i very much doubt that i will get anymore. I would rather keep them all for myself than lose them. Or just split the mini perfumes to make other hampers. If you get what i mean

My order arrived yesterday and the stacking bowls I ordered were not in a box, just wrapped in brown paper, and one of them was broken.

I call CS and they are sending out another set. They told me to keep the other 2 in the set.

    They were very helpful.

Has anyone checked out any of the stores on the outskirts of Manchester in the last couple of days (I was thinking along the lines of The Fort, Crown Point, Stockport, Regent Road, etc - somewhere I can drive to, but I could do Market Street or Trafford Centre, if it was worth it!)

I'm getting over my girl-flu & feel like cheering myself up with a trip out tomorrow, but after missing bargain on the No 7 counters twice last week (I'm blaming being ill!) can anyone advise if there are any good reductions to be had & if so, where in the store I should be looking & do they have any indication of reduced prices or is it just a case of being brave & taking them to the tills?
Went to the Trafford Centre last Wed lunch time and pretty much everything worth having had already gone so I wouldn't bother if I were you. Not sure where they put the general reduced stuff.

Was in Trafford Centre about a week or so ago. General No7 reduced stuff is upstairs but nothing special. But they did have lots of Olay purple box gwp upstairs near the escalator. I took it to the electrical counter and nice SA went and found one with a label on it as most of them had the label removed. Not sure if it is worth a trip just for that though.
  • as well as the stand on the No7 counter, there is another stand of clearance towards the back of the store, mainly suncare and night creams but there was nail varnish and bronzers too, this was all near the photo counter.

There's also two shelves of clearance there, with ink cartridges, hand wash and some boots mint shampoo and conditioner, as well as other bits.

Finally managed to get me some of the herbal essences, 88p bottles, they had a quite a few...

And there was a couple of accessorize sets, the box ones with the eye make up in it, giftwrap, bookends, soaps and a keyring on the 75% bit...

Thanks, ladies! I appreciate your replies. :A

Doesn't sound like its worth me venturing out for, I haven't even managed to get any blinkies to spend! (Spent money at the Fort on Wednesday last week & only realised when I got home & was on here that I'd qualified for a blinkie, but wasn't given it! )

Don't think its worth paying for the petrol to go to the Trafford Centre or the parking for Market Street. I'll just have to hope they get the sale back up & running on here soon! lol!! :rotfl:

May not be on for a while. My DS was taken ill unexpectedly, & rushed to hospital this evening, DGC distraught and unconsolable. Can't sleep so whiled away some time, looking on Fleabay.

One lovely lady has 137 items to sell, all Boots, all By It Now, totalling ....£666 - the Devil Incarnate.

Goodness knows what else has been sold by her since Wednesday. So that's where all the stuff has gone - fair or what?

Has anyone heard from SandraScarlet since this post, I do hope SS and her family are ok.:)

The posts made by SS are always so full of info and fun, the forum seems quiet without her.:(

I'm quite confused. After phoning CS about my 2 chocolate slab sets arriving having fallen out of the box thereby being contaminated by everything else in the box and no longer suitable as gifts, CS agreed to send some more out. I thought they also said they were going to refund me but thought that that must have been wishful thinking! Then got 2 emails one to confirm them sending out a new set and another to confirm that they were going to refund me...but each time this was for only one set. Pushing my luck further than it ought to have been pushed, I phoned CS and explained that it had in fact been 2 sets that were contaminated and lady said they'd send another one (didn't think I'd push for a second refund too as this was ample!). However, never got an order number on .com for the second one. Then today I get an email saying that they apologise profusely for not getting my order to me today (which I've checked and is the first lot of chocolate) and as a result they are going to refund me the postage and packaging charge! Well, seeing as this was a replacement there was of course no postage and packaging charge so I'm very curious as to what will turn up, when and what I'll be refunded for! All the fun of the .com game I guess. But to the other person who had stuff turn up damaged, certainly ring CS, they seem to be throwing compensation out...methinks they would be better to get their warehouse staff to learn the art of packaging!
