If you want more than 1 (and who wouldn't!) HE shampoo, can you put them thru in same transaction to get the 100 points or does it have to be seperate transactions????

I have edited my above post to include reduced herbal essences too.

A good tip is to write a list down with offer, extra points etc and take it with you, this helps you not become flustered and makes you only buy whats on your list keeping your spend to a minimum.

I am currently writing my list, i have 14 blinkies, 14 x 250 points on No7 coupons and loads of other random vouchers too, that i aim to use tommorrow. The SA's are goona love me (not) tommorrow.

you can buy as many as you like in one transaction. Best to split into several transactions though if you are buying loads and want blinkies:D

Oh, and the younger of the security chaps is about 6'6" and looms over everything, but is a nice guy once you get over the scarey effect of him being able to watch you right over the top of the aisle stands!

He used to make me feel like a shoplifter but I have got used to him now!
  • Evening all.:hello: Hope everyone has had a stress free day today, after the agony of the last week. Jollied off to Basildon, which meant we had to change buses at Lakeside, so had another tuppence ha'penny brekkie at Bella Italia first, and went to Boots, of course!

The 75% gift section was now awash with zillions of cat mugs, wrapping paper, key rings, and (wait for it) ............ no doggy bookends!!!! They'd been sold!

Every available inch of shelf space had sun cream, bikinis, sarongs, costumes, beach towels etc - just the sort of thing you need in January! We did however manage to get a few odds and ends in the clearance sections, like HEs, think these were 52p or 62p, with 100 points, a Mediterranean lip balm for 75p, and I had a voucher for 150 points on Boots Vitamins.

I got the smallest size, 97p, which cost 87p after my over 60s discount, and got paid £1.50!! I found several more Olay GWPs, and Dee wanted another one, so she got the wipes, made it to a fiver with Pantene sachets, and then we used our Blinkies on more No 7 Nail & Cuticle Cream - 50p to pay.

We then went to Basildon, and saw shelvesful of the Hacketts thingies, doggy speakers, the mince pie combo, and the inevitable wrapping paper and cards, but nothing else.

When DH collected us at the bus stop it was to report that one of my neighbours had broken her ankle, so I nipped round with one of my Party Bags That I Had Prepared Earlier, consisting of an Olay GWP, a Nail & Cuticle Cream and a Buffer Set. She was thrilled!:j

These are costing me 50p, cos the GWP was free, so was the Buffer Set, so I'm just paying 50p for the Nail & Cuticle Cream. Florence Nightingale was called The Lady With The Lamp, well I'm SandraScarlett, The Girlie With The Gift (with purchase)!! :T

I've cut the "free" tag from the outside of the GWP, and put a bath doodah in (Wilkinsons), and it's certainly a lot cheaper than buying chocolates or flowers.

Doing mega babysitting for the whole day tomorrow, Sunday and Tuesday so I will not be Bootsing again till Wednesday when we're off to Bluewater. BTW, peeps are thinking that perhaps some of the stuff that was in the sale on dot com, might be sent to Beckton. But there's no knowing when that would be.

I think it's dreadful that the 3 for 2 stuff is now being charged at full price.

Have a lovely weekend everyone. xxx

Has anyone seen any reduced HE in the metro centre and where is it. Im trying to figure out where the best place for me to go will be, edinburgh or the metro centre.

I know i can get the free GWP at the metro centre and use the SS tills again (scary) but the reduced HE is gonna be the decider for me.

  • Just got dispatched e-mail for my Jelly Belly Dispencer order, yay!! Now need my main order to be sent and I'll be happy :)

I've noticed people saying they have seen St Tropez sets in stores. Just wanted to point out these are a fantastic bargain at 75% - the items are worth £54.57 if bought individually in Boots (not including the tanning mitt; a Soltan version is around £2-£3)
