How many points do people have on their cards? Also I wondered who has or had the most points on their card?
I have 3080 and dont want to spend them
Nosey? me?!! Never, :rotfl:0 -

What happened?
A buggy is a good idea. I was tempted to blow mine on some treats for myself but with the blinkies I have had my 'me' collection is fit to burst :rotfl:0 -

Did they confiscate your points? And how did you get another card? Others in that situation might like to know. I know I spend my points pretty fast now, usually not keeping above 1,000 or so, definitely not more than 2,000.0 -

last week when sale was off I bought two coin sorter thingys at full price along with a minerals foundation ( so I could get free delivery ) took them to my local store today and this is what happened
MLSL - " Can I return these please I bought them on .com at full price and tried to get them delivered to store so I could pay with points but .com was playing up and they arrive with me a few days ago"
SA " Yes no problem that is £40 (-vat reduction ) & cost of minerals foundation refunded to your card"
MLSL " can I now purchase them with points I checked with .com and they said it should be a problem "
SA " Certainly thats £10 ( -vat reduction ) for your two coin sorters "
I then bought some pantene to boost points & get blinkie, picked up minerals foundation & GWP cost £14ish - £5 blinkie +£9
Total saved
£15 x 2 refund for coin sorter
£5 less for Minerals foundation due to blinkie
I would suggest that if anyone wants 1 or 2 higher cost items they order them through .com ( adding something like minerals foundation to get free delivery ) then asks store if they can refund and buy with points, the refund goes through .com prices 100%, and when they scan it to purchase it comes up 75% off
I would also suggest like I did you could say CS thinks there should be no problem and smile that way theres not 20 supervisors called
best case - you get items you wanted with free delivery & 75% off & extra points
worst case - if they say no, you can either keep item at 100% or get a 100% refund and your no worse off ( & if you've used a bonus points code with .com they often don't take these points off so you'd be 500pts better off for your trouble )
hope this helps those who haven't managed to get items in either of the 75% sales
Good Luck
I was not so fortunate. When I tried this, I was told that as it was .com stock, it had to be returned to .com. There was no point in arguing, but I did get to keep my 500+ points.0 -

I don't know what sells best if you are looking to turn you points into cash via ebay, but cameras might be a good option that are easy to ship.0 -
I took my son to the doctor this morning, and had to collect his prescription from Boots. Naturally, I took a look around while we were there
There are still a lot of gingerbread houses and cat mugs there, also the hot chocolate mug sets and metal buckets with sweets and a Santa in. There are still a number of the large green cup and saucer sets, and about half a dozen St Tropez sets, plus a couple of little keyrings and loads of cards and wrapping paper.
Thrown in a box on the end of one of the shelves, I found a couple of No7 rainbow eyeshadow palettes, which I've never seen before, but someone had smudged them  I do wish people wouldn't stick their fingers in the makeup!
A young male SA was putting out some 'clearance' baby and suncare items on a shelf near the tills at the front of the shop, and I picked up a couple of L'Oreal sets, which appear to have been a GWP at some time, for £1 each (hand-priced clearance label). It's a very smart white,zip-up, leather-look bag with gold piping around it, measuring about 6"x6"x4". On the cardboard surround it says ''Free Luxury Beauty Bag (with every qualifying purchase)''. The bag contains 15ml each of Derma Genesis SPF15 Moisturiser, Derma Genesis Night Cream, and De-maq' expert Milk-to-Toner 2in1 make-up remover, and a headband.
The SA couldn't scan the L'Oreal GWP properly, so had to manually enter the items as 'beauty'. The other SA next to her said something clearly wasn't right, so cleared the rest from the shelf . I wondered if they were actually trying to go through as £0.00?? This might be something to look out for in other branches, too.
I also used a blinkie and paid just 87p for a Ruby and Millie i-Define brush
My online order from 4:14 yesterday morning is still showing as being processed, though0
