I must say that i've been trying to stay away from this thread because of the temptation of Bootsing was scary for me during the month of January, straight after Christmas and trying to live on a smaller budget, so dare i admit it....i didn't go shopping in the 75% sales!
I had bought a fair bit in the half price sales and didn't have any spare cash after that.
However, i just found two more blinkies in my purse and went to Boots at the Festival Park and must say that Jayne who served me was BRILL, i was going to use one of my blinkies against 1 purchase but she pointed out some clearance number 7 and got a calculator to work out the best way of putting it through the till!
Shop 1
Hydro Day Quench Sorbet £3.98
Ant Ageing Sun Protection £4.65
Hydro Advanced Day Fluid £3.38 FREE
Used blinkie - £5.00
Only £3.63 to pay!
Shop 2 (with another SA)
Gentle Toner £7.34
Hydro Overnight Quench Cream Sorbet £4.10
Hydro Advanced Day Fluid £3.38 FREE
Used blinkie - £5.00
Only £6.44 to pay.
Total paid: £10.07
Total at clearance prices, but without blinkies would have been £26.83
I don't know what the original prices of all the clearnace items were, but i know i've saved loads of money afterall, it works out I only paid £1.67 per item!

I know this is a bit off topic but.........I got my mum the ulimate skin care collection when it was OOTW. As she's working her way through it got to the Total Renewal Micro-dermabrasion Exfoliator and says on back follow instructions carefully. Except there is no instructions! I imagine they're normally on the box when you buy it individually. Does anyone have the instructions they could let me have? or do you think if I ask at no 7 counter they'd give me some? anything else I wouldn't mind but worried if we leave it on too long we'll have very red and sore skin!! Thanks everyone!
Is this one :- http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=21951&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
I use this, and although I'm at work at the moment, I'll do my best from memory.
Apply to clean, damp skin, and rub in small circular motions. Take care not to get in eyes (and if you accidentally get it in your mouth it's like eating sand ) Don't rub for more than a couple of minutes, and do not use more than a couple of times a week (it removes the very top layer of skin effectively, so if you use it too much, your skin goes on the defensive and goes all scaly)
Will dig out instructions when I get homeDFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -

Well, I don't know if I've just been a bad Bootser or a good MSE-er, but I put about £40 worth of stuff into my basket then sat there at the checkout page with my hand off the mouse and thought about whether I really wanted all this stuff.
Then I went and made a cup of tea, while I thought about how pleased I was when I managed to get all my (short) list of items between .com at the beginning of the 75% sale and my local branches. And whether I really wanted all the items in my basket.
Then I came back through (with cuppa) and deleted everything from my basket. Then signed out of .com. And you know what? It felt good.
Just saying. It's not a bargain if you don't really want it, remember. Even if it is cheap and oh-so-purty. I fell foul of this last year at the 75% off Boots sale and I've still got the sad remnants in the attic to prove it. And there's always going to be another deal just round the corner. Might need money for that, yes????
But just to prove I've not totally lost my Bootsing mojo I went down to my small local branch today and bought seven 400ml bottles of my usual HE shampoo at 73p each. £5.11 spent on something I'd have bought anyway (except at £2.98 per bottle) so £15.75 saved, 700 points and a blinkie. Now that's moneysaving!Val.0
