    No I buy seasoned logs that is logs that are pre chopped and stored at least a year to dry out and wood burns better if its dry

    I didnt say that, Not sure if you are taking the Mick as you seem to be twisting things around

    I buy logs pre chopped ans seasoned. I never once said they last me a year. I meant the person I buy logs from stores them for a year and I buy them in and then store for Winter

    Its not always the size that counts it how you use it.

    Precisely, a good wood will endure without embelishment or assistance. Soft wood is unreliable irrespective of what it may be adorned or seasoned with.

    i'm off to get wood, any idea where? i have a medium size, 4lb chopper. is it legal to get wood out in the open?

    Generally no, but I don't have any first hand experience myself. I would think most would be satisfied that a 4lb chopper would be good for the job.

    It's good to have lots of wood for winter it's nice to snuggle up in the warm when the weather is harsh, I like the whole cosiness thing.
