Super.
Well, it seems my court do a first come first served basis. So... basically, I could fill in the forms and go and bankrupt myself tomorrow it seems.
Wow!
I'll have a think about things, fill out all the forms and wait until I've lost my job and I think that's the moment to do it.
Blimey.
Hi there,
Before you go rushing into anything - don't forget to ask the advice of one of the debt agencies - CCCS, National Debtline, or the Citizens Advice people.
If you do get as far as filing for BR you will be asked it you have sought advice. If you haven't it could get turned down.....
Just a thought..

Ill ask..what did happen to it?
Yes, Phil is right, it is none of your business, but since you asked....
Absolutely nothing, every penny was accounted for in feeding and clothing my children, paying the mortgage, getting myself to work and my sick husband to the hospital, not to mention the exortionate parking fees at said hospital, on I could go on and on....
The point I was making is that nobody actually asked.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

and we the same.
We stopped paying creditors because we couldnt afford to, and lived as per our SOA pre-bancruptcy.
I would love to say i bought a brand new car and had an expensive holiday and lived the life of Riley.... instead we did our best to make ends meet.Number 001 of 2009! :T0 -
Energised, we are here to help every step whichever way it is decided is your best route.
I wouldnt stop paying anything until you know which way you are going - we took advice from CCCS and CAB - both were great, tho i do prefer CCCS, and they are much easier to get hold of too.Number 001 of 2009! :T0 -
Haha it's not. That said, a lot of my debt was accrued on buying guitars and various guitar equipment :$. Not good I know, I've sold most of it on. I couldn't take selling my first guitar though, Yamaha Pacifica 112. Paid £200 for it 5 years ago hehe. Black with a maple fretboard so I can pretend I'm Dave Gilmour
.
Oh that was my first baby too. But I had the sunburst version. I sold mine but f knows what I did with the money. I miss me ol geetaar.
Anyways that not what you came here for. National debt line or CCCS will just advise you on what your options are but you will get asked if you have sought advice. I found National Debtline really really helpful. I got through at about 8pm on a weekday but couldn't get them during the dayMoney, money, money. Must be funny, in a rich man's world. :rolleyes:0
