Alba 16in HD Ready LCD with Freeview - £99.99

Just noticed while looking at the new catalogue on the Argos website that they are selling an Alba 16in HD Ready LCD TV with built-in Freeview for only £99.99!

I've just reserved one at my local branch! :D

I'd call customer services up. I once ordered stuff online from Argos website once, paid etc but the delivery never arrived. Phoned customer services and they had no knowledge of the order! :rotfl:

glad to know its good as im getting mine later today!!
  • Nice, I'm considering this TV, but I need more convincing(!), would anybody be so kind as to take a few photos of theirs' and post them up?
  • 16inch is really small.

i'd rather spend an extra £30/40 and get a 19inch Samsung.

Man that's cheap. What the refresh rate like, watching sports etc? Also how do you find the viewing angle? I'd get one and put it in my Kitchen, perfect for watching cooking shows and possible as a small internet display in the kitchen (put recipes up on it). h.gif
  • i got this for my son a few days ago.Ideal for children but do agree that it might have been better to buy a bigger screen.....it is very tiny.
  • I got one of these today and am very disappointed. I got it to replace the old portable in my kitchen. The only space I have to put it is on top of my fridge/freezer, but looking up at this screen the picture is absolutely useless - no good at all.

Be wary if you intend to watch it in any other way than at eye level. For example, would be no good wall mounted in a bedroom if you would then need to look up at it.

    Caveat emptor!!
