I have ceramic floor tiles with white grout that has now gone grey/black in places. What is the best way to re-whiten the grout and then protect it?
Thanks...
Thanks...
I love a nice juicy "kebab"...

The best and therfore the most time consuming and expensive is to take up all the old grout and re grout with a silcone based grout(very expensive). Other than that buy a grout rake from b&q about £3.00 and take off all the discolouring touching up all the black bits buy masking off the tiles and get floor glossMoney's too tight to mention!!!0

I have used Flash spray with bleach and a stiff bristle tooth brush to clean up white wall tile grout. Would probably work on the floor as well.
To protect grout once it has fully dried use a solvent based tile grout protector (just ask at any tile retailer). It's a bit tedious to apply, I used a small brush.0 -

Bleach or steam. Never heard of silicon grout but epoxy grout will do the job

Can't add anything, but just wanted to say that since I discovered Flash with bleach I haven't used anything else on tiles. Spray, leave for 10 mins and shower off.
