Should Post Office Ditch Bank of Ireland?

Options
Now that we 'own' some UK banks it got me thinking that they should be operating out of our Post Offices rather than the Bank of Ireland, which could help safeguard future closures.

My guess is that the Post Office went with the Bank of Ireland because they paid the largest commission.

A lot of banks DO allow transactions through the Post Office already - Barclays. LTSB, Coop to name but a few.

    Spot on though.

At the end of the day they will have to honour their contractual obligations or pay a penalty to get out of the deal.
