Calling India - anyone used tajphone.com?

My friend is off to India on business for 10 days or so and we'd like to keep in touch by phone. When he's been abroad before I've used Telestunt which is very reasonable, or the broadband phoneline my Orange Livebox gives me.

Telestunt quotes 7p per minute for a landline, Orange don't include India on their calling list. I Googled calling India and found www.tajphone.com which only seems to be 2p per minute. Has anyone used them and are they as good as telestunt?

I'll be calling from a BT landline who I hear are now offering cheaper/free calls to 0844/5 etc.. Is there a chance this might not even cost me 2p per minute?

I see they give you a number to call mobiles in India too for not much more, I guess I can't use that for calling my friend's UK mobile? Is there a cheap way of doing that?

Why not try using the Intl Call Checker where your find cheaper suppliers then 2p a minute to Indian Landline,s and Mobiles. http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/india

BT,s new inclusive call packages do not include calls to 0844 only 0845/0870.

It does not matter where your friend is roaming with a UK Mobile you only pay the UK rate to call it.(He/She pays to recieve call !!!) Try www.18185.co.uk for a cheap rate to call UK mobiles from a BT Landline.
