LLs That Accept DSS in Bristol/Wells/Glastonbury Area

Hello. :)

Does anyone know of any landlords in the Bristol/Wells/Glastonbury area that accept DSS?
I'm guessing there's either very few or none but it's worth a shot. :)

Thank you.

    Thank you. :)

I'm just so desperate to move to be closer to the one person who encompasses my support network, and after recent events, it has made me want out of this place more.

I'm looking online at rental properties but most of them say NO DSS, unfortunately. =/

It pays to talk to letting agents and show your face, especially if you're confident you'll come across well.

I was looking for a place a while back and everything on one agency said 'no pets.' I decided to talk to them anyway and was told : 'Oh your two cats will be no problem at most of our properties; we just put that as a let-out in case someone with three rottweillers approaches us.'

I think it could be the same with DSS at some properties, though obviously not the majority. Wells & Glastonbury, particularly the former, are a bit snooty. Bristol should be easier.

Try making contact with landlords directly (look in local papers, etc). They are likely to be less snooty than agents.
