Hi All.
Hope somone can advise on this. Not really a problem but is really really annoying me!!
When i am driving and have the heater on everything is fine but as soon as i stop driving (pull up to wait for my girlfriend at her work for ten mins) cold air starts coming out of the heater and car becomes cold quite fast. Any advice (other than get a girlfriend that is actually on time)
Thanks,
JAmes

Check the coolant level in the radiator0

look at the expansion bottle when engine is cold. Could be your water pump (a guess).0

Charlesworth82,
This just sounds normal to me, Do you mean with the engine running?Either way it will always turn cold

Hi, thanks for the responses. Yeah the engine is still running just not accelerating. In my old car i could turn the engine on and hot air would come out after a while - wont happen on this car unless i drive.‘It ain’t over 'til it's over’0

This is not normal, it should stay hot.0

Sound like a lack of coolant or an air lock0

Is engine running at proper temperature?Happy chappy0

if your coolant is at the correct level (check it with the engine cold and off. if hot u will scald yourself). next time u are stationary and cold air comes out then open the bonnet and see if the radiator fan is on. it cold be ur radiator fan is cutting in early and over cooling the engine.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way
