in Credit cards
Am new to the site, only just told loved ones about my situation and now feeling 'where do I go from here?'
I have £6000 on a cc, £1800 bl, £3750 od at my bank- Natwest that I could really do with some friendly advice about. I also owe £1500 rent arrears, and £285 council tax.
Like everyone else out there I have a story how I arrived at this point but now am just focusing on a way out of this situation.
Can anyone who's been here offer any ideas as I don't know where to start. My monthly income is £1280 net, my monthly outgoings - bills, rent, no luxuries, are £1210. please can anybody help me!

Forget the cc, bl and od write to them and offer token payments of £1 a month. Open a basic bank account somewhere else and concentrate on paying off your rent arrears and council tax - they are the important ones, if you dont pay those they you could lose your home and be imprisoned for non payment.
As cifpower has said, post a statement of affairs on DFW board and they will give you some ideas as to how to cut your costs.Free/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0 -
