Hi can anyone let me know about travel insurance, i am an insilin dependant diabetic and have booked a holiday to egypt and need to know if i have to disclose this on the travel insurance as i have done a moneysupermarket search, dont know if i have to declare this. Please help if you know also if anyone knows if you are allowed to take tablets and insilin on board the aircraft and who you have to cantact if anyone.

Yes you need to declare this on your insurance and they may charge you extra for covering it or may refuse to cover the diabetes and any complications you have while on holiday.
Yes you can carry your tablets with no problems on board the plane and also your needles you need for the journey. I would check about the insulin though as not sure if you will be able to keep it cool enough but I presume they have some sort of facility available.
I carry an epipen auto injector needle for allegies and have never had a problem carrying it on a plane as long as the box has the sticker from the chemist on with my details.
I'd give your airline a call and check with them about the insulin though or maybe buy one of the keep cool carriers that are specially made for carrying insulin.
