Dishwasher powder v tablets

  • Hubby won't have anything but powder in our dishwasher. We only just got a dishwasher and he did similar research to cleothecat and found the maintenence engineers recommend powder and rinse aid. That's what we've used from the start and it works really well for us (Sainos own brand). Those tablets really do cost a fortune and how on earth can the rinse aid ball bit of the tablet dissolve separately from the cleaning bit...they all go in the same compartment and get slooshed by the same water so presumably they all dissolve at the same time...(Can you tell I'm no engineer!!!? ;) )
