If you use Firefox (and why wouldn't you?
) there's a small extension called InFormEnter which places a little icon next to all text boxes on a form. The reason I like it is that it doesn't try to guess anything, but lets you make your own choices. A little longer maybe, but not much more than those 'intelligent' form fillers which put everything in the wrong place.

I saw this recommended this morning:

But haven't had time to look over it yet0 -
I use a utility called Password Safe, which runs as a seperate program but has integration into most browsers. You enter your usernames, passwords etc., if you put the website address in the first line of the "Notes" box you can right-click an entry and click "Browse to URL" and the site you specified appears. You can even click in the username box on the login site, go back to password safe, right-click the correct username and password then click "Peform Auto-type" and it enters your username and password for you. Clever
The website for Password Safe is here: http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/0 -

I've been using Roboform for the last 4 years and I throughly recommend it!
It is best solution, it's simple and easy to use, worth the money.
Keepass does look like a godo free alternative especialyl with the Form Filler plugin.0 -
I started using Roboform when I installed MyIE2 (now Maxthon) and would thoroughly recommend it. Assuming you don't want to change browser platform, I'd stick with Roboform.
I know some people don't like storing passwords on a PC due to the possible security risk, so you may well not want to store financial passwords in it. You have to trade off the ease of use with the possible security implications.Jumbo

I am having no luck in using either keepsafe or passsafe - could anyone help me , I cannot work them out! Too used to Roboform I think, I just keep expecting them to pop up and fill in the forms for me and when they don't I am confused!
ps just noticed all the valentines icons at the side, I hate valentines, as only a single person can!I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0
