Australia Nov 2007

Having sorted out holidays for this year, hubby and I are now considering next year, as he retires Nov 2007. We quite like the idea of visiting Australia - only trouble is that when my Mum (who is in her eighties) knows this she will want to travel with us, as her only living brother lives in Sydney. If we go independently then this won't be a problem, but while Mum will stay in Sydney for however long, we of course will want to see a bit more of the country. Does anyone know if we would be able to sort out an escorted coach tour from Sydney to, say, Great Barrier Reef, Ayers Rock, etc? My uncle is in his eighties and not very well so is not up to sorting anything out for us.
Any tips, ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
