Internet connection dropping out on certain sites

Hi

If I go on certain sites my internet connection drops out

I can get on to Ebay but if I try to go onto the sell option I loose the connection so if I want to sell I have to go to the library and use their computer. It did work at one point.

If I go onto Yahoo games it drops out I used to go on this daily.

Daily mail.co.uk it drops out

More sites it happens on but I'm not really bothered about them

Is there something in my computer that is causing this annoying ocurrance?

I would be grateful for any advice.

it's either an isp issue or your modem/router most likely.

you havent said whether you're on dialup/broadband or whether you use a modem or a router.

Hi I'm on AOL broadband

But I used to be able to get on these sites/pages. I can get on Ebay allother opions but not the sell.

I used to play Yahoo games every day but then it started dropping out I though it was because it had changed to pay per play but it hasn't

I connect through a BT voyager 105 usb adsl modem

The reason I think there is something in my computer is that I can also access internet through Explorer and if I go on those sites that I mentioned on internet explorer, that drops out but I still stay connected on AOL.

I had constant dropped connections with BT voyager. I changed to a speedtouch modem and haven`t had a dropped connection since (6 months)

Have you tried a different browser, to see if the problem persists?

I can't believe it!!!

At last I can sell again on Ebay without using the computers at the library. I have installed Firefox as recommended.

BUt Yahoo games still drop out and so does the Dailymail.co.uk site but at least I get Ebay sell
