I have been really surprised when looking at houses....

when we were looking at houses we saw bathrooms which hadn't been cleaned. And they wondered why their house wasn't selling.......
To be honest, that wouldn't put me off at all. The house that we are buying hasn't been lived in since the owner died in July and the garden isn't looking its best.
Not only that but it was a very old couple that had bought it when it was new and lived in for a couple of decades before she died back in 2002 so the decor is completely dated but the house is perfectly sound
Enough to put some people off I'm sure but as a result we ended up getting for almost 30% less.
All you need for a dirty bathroom is a bottle of stardrops and a bit of elbow grease! It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0 -
I dont think it would put me off if the house was everything I wanted. The dogs and the dog poo would go once you got the house. Why should it be that important?0

i dont like it when the kitchen bin hasnt been emptied and when they reek of smoke...very grimonwards and upwards0

My in laws and worried. They aren't in the market to move but if they did put their house in their market they worry that the fact next door's garden is a dog toilet would put potential buyers off.
Next door even concreted their garden over so the poo has no where to go.. just sits there.... blechKavanne
