Get part numbers from those flip chart things in Halfords.

Agreed, they could be the last set that you ever buy if they fail.

I wouldnt even trust 'normal' car parts suppliers. Go dealer, you may be pleasantly surprised at the price & it's got a nationwide 2year warrenty in case of issues. Ive worked on the factor side of the fence & we took back faulty brake pad sets EVERY week...not worth skimping in my humble opinion.

buy a well known brand or as tit says genuine parts.
dont bother with the likes of power train or trupart cheap budget stuff, even if they dont fail on you they will need replacing very soon again.
    ...work permit granted!
  • Halfords own brand brake pads...:mad:

I'm pressing the brake. I'm pressing it harder. Nothing is happening....

In my experience the dealer will be two or three times the cost of motor factors. I’ve never had faulty pads, the normal problem with factors is they deliver the wrong type
  • for the sake of a couple of quid buy them in a motorfactors

I buy from motorfactors and have never had any problems. Though I do buy branded, ie: ATE or Brembo and, in the case of Euro Car Parts, they sell the same Textar pads that the dealerships use.
