I also have some of the now HBOS shares. The best place to go online is here http://mwprices.ft.com/custom/ft-com/quotechartnews.asp?subtab=&FTSite=FTCOM&q=HBOS&searchtype=equity&expanded=&countrycode=UK&s2=uk&symb=HBOS&sid=729530&site=&company=NEW&selected=HBOS+plc
or on channel four text page 514 . They have gone up alot recently and I am watching with intrigue. The best place to sell at the moment is Hoodless Brennan which has a flat rate to sell of £7.

you will have shares in HBOS group, although not sure if your 200 shares in Halifax translated directly into 200 HBOS shares.
See this for latest price:

"On 10th September 2001 the merger of Halifax Group plc and Bank of Scotland became effective. This means that all Halifax Group plc ordinary shares and Bank of Scotland ordinary stock were exchanged on a 1:1 basis for HBOS plc ordinary shares and have the trading symbol 'HBOS'."

You should hold a certificate in HBOS (anything with just Halifax on is out of date). You will need this document before you can sell the shares.
If you have lost the certificate get in touch with their Registrars for the procedure to get a copy. You will incur a fee of around £50 in total for this!0 -

Yes, but they did a buyback a few years before that - probably now have about 165 shares.0
