I've just purchased a burger maker from Lakeland - it's fab!
Last night I made beef burgers and they were scrummy!!
What I want to know is how do you make HM chicken burgers, do you mash the chicken up, use a breast - I just don't know!?!
Any help would be appreciated - ta!

I make HM chicken nuggets by dipping pieces of chicken breast in batter, or breadcrumbs. For burgers i mince the chicken breast, shape and do the same. Sometimes i use cooked chicken (left over from a roast) and again, i just mince it up, i know its all chicken as im making it, but its not always the breast meat when i do it that way.

Save money on those wax burger divider discs and to give your little one (if their old enough to do) something to do is.. if you have cereals or things with those white waxy bags inside not the foil ones! When their finished cut the bags open so they lay flat and draw round the end of the burger maker and cut out, saves you buying some of the wax discs.0

I have had one of these Lakeland burger makers for ages and I love it, kids will eat anything if it is burger shaped. Apart from the usual things I make bubble and squeek burgers, any roast or mashed potatoes, veg, bacon or ham, chicken anything really wiz it in the processor and then make the burgers. You can make fish cakes tooLoretta0 -

I've had one of these burger makers for years and I inherited it- they last forever (saying that I shall probably drop it and chip the edge off now!!).
My kids seem to prefer homemade burgers, we have a 'mcdonalds at home', if you go to www.topsecretrecipe.com you can get the recipe for big mac or mcdonalds burger sauce, we toast the buns in a dry frying pan and do our our skinny fries (or buy the ones from lidls) and to be honest you get a very good meal for pennies!0 -
What a good website - thanks for that halloweenqueen!!! My OH will be chuffed when i make the mcdonalds sauce - he loves it0
