20p on a locker at the swimming pool
13p in sainsburys (redeemed £2.50 of nectar points I didn't know I had - hardly ever go to sainsburys!)
Saved prescription charge (about £6?) by going to walk in centre. The nurses can't prescibe but they can give you the medicine straight away, no charge. Didn't actually go there in order to get it free but its a bonus!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Hi
Just want to urge everyone to look at the other half of the equation when doing this excellent worthwhile exercise of working out what you spend daily....
The other half is 'How much did you bring in today'. No matter if you are on benefits or chairman of the board, the equation is the same. Calculate your daily income aginst your daily spend; your weekly income against your weekly spend; your monthly... oh you get it by now surely.
In my opinion, you CAN spend what you like... but only when you bring in more than you pay out. Its this balancing act thats the difficult part and should get most of your attention. Only my view, though. Cheers. Bob.0 -

I know we are suppose to be nice to other money savers. But well done for stating the obvious :T
I think we are all well aware of that. It is rather like loosing weight. Calories in less then calories burnt you loose weight. Other way around you gain.
I thought this thread was a just a bit of fun. Not lets get heavy and tell people what they already know.
A lot of people on this board are on the road to being debt free. And this thread helps them to keep a check on what they are spending.
