Hi - anyone done this? - I can buy a large tin but small tins work out more expensive and I won't eat a whole large tin @ once - could but the diet says NO !!

You can (it's just boiled beans in sugar and water.)
But is it worth it? The unused beans'll last a week (and more) in the fridge.0 -
Yeah well I might only fancy them today and not tomorrow so this way I can keep the leftovers in the freezer and when I NEXT fancy `em they'll be there - waiting for me. !! I'm sooooh sad about not throwing things away.!! Thanks by the way.0

You can always rinse one portion to remove most of the sauce for use with something else - if you only buy beans when they're reduced to four for £1 (or four for 75p, as they are in Morrisson's just now) they'll be cheaper than plain tinned beans.0
