Hello!
I have £250 to spend on a camcorder. I've no idea about what's good and what's not good. I know you can record to Memory Card, DVD or Hard Drive - but which is best for in and around this price? It would be used for a christening we have coming up and generally for filming days in and out with our baby son as he grows up!
Any advice would be much appreciated,
Thanks!

There are so many things to consider that it would take a full page to reply.

Having spent the last few days changing hundreds of MOD files that a friend had into MPg files so that I could burn them to dvd's for him I would look carefully at the file type that you end up with and make sure that it is compatable with dvd burning software that you have.I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
I'm not losing my hair... I'm getting more head!!0 -
Imho you should avoid dvd camcorders as there are many posts about problems transferring files to Pc or Mac for editing. DV tape or direct to memory card may be the best way forward.0
