HSBC Contact address for claiming

Im sure this has been posted somewhere but I can't find it. I submitted a claim a long time ago, and haven't heard anything from them for quite a while, so thought it might be worth sending a chase up letter.

Does anyone have the correct address to send my letter to for HSBC?

Thanks in advance

  • Please could anybody help - finally decided to try and claim bank charges back - husband is self employed and despite trying to keep the bank in touch they are stacking charges up against us. Has anyone had to find another bank once their case has been settled - also do you write to your local branch in the first instance or bank's head office.

    Many thanks

I would write to their head office. They cannot shut your account as a result of you reclaiming your charges back.

  • Hi all,

I have been speaking to HSBC (local branch) to try and get a copy of all charges that have been applied to my account, but they are telling me that they cannot send me a copy of just charges. Has anyone here been able to get a statement of just bank charges from HSBC? Do you think it woulk make a difference if i wrote to HSBC HQ??

I look forward to any help.

I would say that what they have said is correct.

    Matt,

Recently requested statements from HSBC myself. Called internet banking number on their website and just asked for statements. Get those and you can check off charges from there. If you're lucky they wont charge you (didn't charge me)
  • Just a quick question.... how many years did you ask for? i have had my account for 5+ years, i will need up to 6 years back, i dont think my charges go that far back, but would like to check.

Thanks for your response, i shall be on the phone first thing in the morning...
