                    Hi there
I have been offered a set of nearly new honda alloys and tyres size 195/60r 14.
My Focus (for which I need 2 new tyres) has 195/60r 15.
Does anyone know if these will fit and if so is it good idea to get them (I can get 4 tyres plus wheels cheaper than 1 new tyre)
many thanks in advance

The overall rolling radius of the Honda set of wheels is going to be a fair bit smaller than the Focus and this will effect your speedo readings.
You also need to check that the stud pattern is the same and the offset of the wheel is compatable. Then there's the question of will the smaller 14 inch alloys from the Honda fit over the Focus' brakes.
Probably best not to gamble on the Honda alloys and tyres.0

If it's a four stud Focus:
Honda alloys are normally 4x100, focus seem to be 4x108, so they won't fit.0

i would assume not as the PCD would be out0

Seconded. Wrong stud pattern, too small. Will look absolutely stupid even if you could get them to fit.Conor

Hi again thanks for your advice.
been looking at the best deals for tyres and discovered that the manufacturers recomended tyre size (got this from a tyre website) is 185/65 14 and the 195/60 15 that I have was an upgrade available. Does this mean I could buy either size (as long as I have 4) or would I have to have the larger ones due to the speedo thing?
 many thanks0
