I received 2 small samples today, a body wash and cellulite cream. I thought they would have sent me more samples to try as I stated I had oily skin and wanted to try some facial products.

I also got mine today. Said I had a local rep but was interested in testing before I buy - asked specifically for pink shade lipsticks and moisturiser. Received sachet of anti ageing cream, dry skin relief cream, Anew wrinkle corrector, 2 shades of lipstick but not my colour as they are more rosey - should have said light pink. Also got 2 perfume samples which are in those small tubes (one is half full and one is quarter full)0

E-mailed them yesterday and this lunchtime had a phone call from a lovely Avon person who asked me all about my skin type and what sort of products I like and then promised to send me some skincare, eyecare and make up samples, together with Avon Direct brochure in tonight's post. Result! Great customer service and if the stuff suits my skin I will definitely be placing an order!! thanks to OP!!Jane

I sent an email to avon after seeing this, they sent me a mail back to say they would contact me soon.
When I checked my mail today I had a new message from them, it was to tell me that they couldn't recommend any specific products for my skintype, but that I could try any product and if I found it unsuitable I could have a refund. What a cop out , don't think I'll get any freebies!0 -
What a great find - thanks my free samples are on the way too!0

I too sent an email and received a letter at the weekend saying they couldn't recommend any products - may be it's the luck of the draw and who reads your email.0 -

I emailed last night explaining my skin had suddenly become dry and irritated and asking if they could send some appropriate samples so I could check if I could use them.
Had an email this morning saying that they would send some samples according to the info I had given.
I think doing a longish email probably pays off!

I was well impressed and will defo order from them! it must just be the luck of the draw I think!Jane
