Bathroom fitter - paying up front
Comments

Thanks everyone for your replies.
I am buying the bathroom suite, tiles etc. myself.
The quote comes from a local company who I found on mybuilder.com. Unfortunately I don't know anyone locally who can recommend a good bathroom fitter, which obviously would be much better!0 -

I find that asking people for money up front is a bit of a Joke as most builders will have accounts with building supply companies, and only pay 30 to 45 days later.
It cut's both ways, what happens if the customer refuses to pay on completion?....it happens.
50% up-front seems the fairest option to both parties to me.0
