Topman Card

I was in Topman a few days ago to purchase a few items of clothing and i was offered 10% discount if i signed up for a Topman Card. I didn't realise that i was actually signing up for a store credit card until the day after when i did a bit of research. I'm now a little bit concerned about it as i've never had a credit card before and i want to know how it works.

If when my Topman card and statement comes through the post, can i simply pay the bill off with cash in store and cancel the card or is it more complicated than that? Any help is appreciated.

Not sure if you can pay instore but you will certainly be able to pay by debit card, cheque or at your bank and then you are at liberty to close the account.

If i pay the full amount and don't cancel, will that be the end of it anyway? I won't get charged for anything if i don't use it again will i?

Pay it in full and you won't pay a penny extra. If you don't cancel the card then eventually the company will cancel it themselves.
