Cost of Plumbing in a Dual Fuel Cooker?

Hello there. Only my first post on here but have been watching you guy's for a while now and can I take this opportunity to say hi and congratulate you guy's on running an absolubtly fantastic site here.
Anyway. I am about to move into our new home with my wife and four little darlings :S. The property doesn't have an oven installed it only has a Gas 4 Burner Hob. I am splashing out on what I hope is a good investment in the form of a Dual Fuel Range Type Cooker/Oven and I was wondering if any of you peeps have a rough idea of how much a plumber would cost to install it. Or what I should expect to pay. I don't want to get ripped off thats all.
Thanx
:j

Hi there,I work for a major manufacturer & we would charge 70 pounds, assuming there is a suitable space(wide enough to accept the cooker & no cupboards/flammable surfaces less than 75cm from the top of the pan supports & gas & electric point to connect to)or try the retailer as they sometimes have people they use for this or contact CORGI & they will give a list of registered installers in your area.I dont know what private trades would charge but one customer I was at had been charged 114 pounds. It would be a good idea to try & get hold of the fitting instructions b4 you buy the cooker to make sure it will fit as I,ve had to abort jobs because of too low cooker hoods or cupboards.

    Hi

I guess its a bit late for me but.. We have just bought and in process of installing a dual fuel range.

Gas man we knew through a good friend, He charged me £40 all in to move the gas pipe and install the gas flexitube into the range etc. (Yes he is Corgi registered and I know I got a good deal!) Also Fixed to the wall using a chain etc..

Problem being as its an electric oven, dopey here forgot I need another electrical point installing and this is costing ~ £100 inc vat to extend the existing cooker point.

I think the electrics will be the most expensive part of the equation if you havent already factored this in. As i know its hurting my pocket!
