having a new combi boiler fitted soon.
do i need stopcocks for it to stop hot and cold supply? ive got a stopcock under the sink for cold water i think??? maybe all water???
and a stopcock at present in the iring cupboard for hot water, but everything in the airing cupboards getting ripped out.
just wondering for future work, such as changing a tap - how to turn off the water supply.
many thanks

The boiler heats mains water as you demand it, shutting off the cold water supply via your stop !!!! will shut off the hot water too.0

Cheers, So Turning Off The Stopcock Under The Sink Is Sufficient.0

Local stopcocks/isolators are always a good idea. It means you can work on various parts of the plumbing without having the whole house without water. Local isolators are very cheap and very easy to fit. They can save a lot of damage in the event of a leak as well.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
