Anyone tried ewido or a2?

Has anyone tried ewido from http://www.ewido.net or a2 [a squared] from http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/ (freeware version)

Just downloaded ewido (free trial version) and run first scan. SEEMS really easy to use!!!

I tried a2 a while back, it ran okay, but there were no updates for months on end so didn't bother to reload when I had to rebuild my PC. As there were no updates, I wasn't sure on it's reliability.
