Garmin Nuvi 200 or 250 (250 includes Europe) or a Tom Tom One. They both simple, straightforward basic Sat Navs. Personally I prefer the Nuvi. The non-widescreen Nuvi 250 can be had for £80 at Amazon.

  • In my opinion it would be a good idea going round the shops that sell sat nav & get a demo of each of them, then pick the best 1 that suits your requirements & budget.

There's a comparison of the Nuvi 200 and Tom Tom One here

There's a few other reviews on his site too. It was his review of the Nuvi 200 that finally tipped me towards that instead of a Tom Tom. He's also got a couple of videos explaining how to use it.

BTW the Nuvi 200/250 have been replaced by the 205/255 but are still available so if you don't need the new features the older models are very good value.
