EdF raising fixed prices??
Hi, I work for a price comparison and debt help company.
We recently lost our deal with EdF, and since then have been contacted by several unhappy EdF customers who we advised to fix prices until 2010 with the french company last year, but who have noticed in the past few months that their unit rates have been going up!
Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone know a number we can advise EdF customers to call for help in this matter? (EdF will no longer discuss any business with our company even when it concerns customers we switched to their service)

hi ,
I was previously on the 2008 price saver untilthis month jan 09 and when i looked at my dual gas and elec bill, i found EDf had put me back on standard rate with out telling me. So i contacted them to explain i should not be on this and reminded them that i joined the 2010 fixed price scheme in jan 2007. theysaid they had no record of this and told me the scheme is no longer running and they cant offer me it. I explained that i have a letter from them of my registration. They said send it to us, but we cant promise. I have been waiting 2 months now and have had many letters (red) saying they are coming to disconnect my dual fuel. I have called and written to explain i refuse to pay my bill in full until they revise it and give me the rate they agreed to. They are now coming friday with a warrant to turn me off. I dont know what to do....I paid £30 as a token gester to my accounts that total £270 for a quarter. They are still coming. I have asked them to setup direct debit, they wont becozim in arrears(apparantly). I am a single guy trying to domy best and have always paid EDF on time for 4 years....surely i am a good customer.......they treat me terrible....i am so scared now and my dad says i should see a solicitor....but friday is judgement day.....help....help help.....becoz edf dont help0 -
