Quick question on USB HDD

I have made a usb drive from an old pc drive.
When I look at this against the "pre-bought" usb drive I have this is formatted in NTFS and the bought ones FAT32.
Currently I have cleared this drive, should I reformat it to FAT32 or is it fine as it is?
Thanks
DG

Only ever need to format to fat32 if you will be using with with a win 98 PC (or other OS that doesn't support NTFS). Otherwise leave at NTFS.0

Thanks - shouldn't need to go back to that nightmare.
