Was in the middle of typing a reply and Izzy reset the computer :rolleyes:

She's learned to bark now but scare herself when she does :rotfl:

I found out today that I'm still getting my annual bonus in March :T I work for a bank and it was all uncertain as the pay rises weren't very good but will be able to pay E-on a lump sump and get myself a laptop to replace this cranky old computer so I'm happy now

OH going out tonight so I get the house to myself :j

Oh yeah! The missus making like a pneumatic drill and shaking the bed and the walls.. Well, for some reason she decided I'd been punished enough and she seems to have given up the snoring. Mind you she's taken to going for a wee most nights around 3am and comes back to bed with a freezing bottom which she warms up on me. I get my own back when I have my nightly wee at 5am. Mind you it's worse for me 'cos I sleep naked.

We haven't had a milkman since last Saturday so she pushed me out into the cold this morning to slide into town to get some. I showed her though 'cos I bought ONE doughnut or at least I thought I had 'til she nicked it. Cheeky mare! I need some revenge again :rotfl:. My turn to cook tonight so I think I'll give her a nice salad!

Are anyone elses garden birds missing? All we seem to have had this week is a robin. No doves or pigeons or tits (can I say tits?) or sparrows or blackbirds. Even the crows have gone awol. I'd thought they'd have welcomed a free meal in the cold.

OK! What else. Nothing really. We watched Atonement huddled round the gas fire this afternoon. It's always nice to oggle Keira Knightly. Good film though after a slow start.

Tonight is soap night. God! The hours I lose to Corrie and Eastenders. Then I s'pose it's QI. So I guess I'm gonna get a numb bum again watching TV. I already suffer from "Compers Bum". :rotfl:

I asked last night to watch Lost, said it's only on for 42 minutes ... "but that's another 42 minutes of my life I'll never get back" :rotfl: so I sent him to Tesco to buy me a Cadbury's caramel whilst I watched it

Snidely, I was looking out of the balcony doors while on the phone this week, watching the snow fall, and a gorgeous green and red woodpecker flew all the way down the street! It was a fantastic sight, not seen one under circumstances like that before! At the same time there were two magpies up in a tree in my neighbours garden and later that day a wren on the balcony itself!

All makes a change from seagulls I suppose, or !!!!!hawks as my old nan from Brixham used to call them.
