TJ our doc says to be a good carer you have to care for yourself too - have a word with the respite place and ask what their contingincy plans are, hopefully htis will put your mind at rest so you can enjoy your well earned break - you're not going for a month you know.
SOD BIG HUGS hun - can your solicitor not be at the meeting with the gestapo - ooops sorry SS - or someone else who isnt emotionally involved as it helps to keep things calm and make things cleaer

SOD - will be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way :A - not sure how old your big girl is but would they not take her wishes into account somewhere.

TJ - go for it -:j you'll probably not get another chance to do this. Swanning off on a caribbean cruise for three months would be irresponsible - a weekend away isn't and I'm sure you and your husband could do with a break.
