Good morning all, and how is everyone on this beautiful snowy morning?

We got loads more snow overnight but it's not as bad as all that - I got to work ok (20 miles or so) but there are quite a few people in who live closer than me and on more major streets than my little estate not coming in due to the weather! What would they be like if they really got snowed in?! :) I love the snow anyway, although would rather not have to drive in it of course - I'd rather be out playing!!

Anyway, trying to gloss over my weigh in disappointment but I should admit it here... lost nothing this week - totally gutted with myself. I exercised more and ate healthier than the last couple of weeks and I have nothing to show for it. I do feel fitter but while that's half the battle it's not going to make me happy with my holiday pics in florida. Any tips greatfully received.

Cg - that damp is terrible. You said you have a drs note as it's making you poorly. Go and let the council know what you think. Take copies of the photos, the inspectors reports and the drs note. Totally disgusting. If animals were being kept in those conditions the RSPCA would sieze them!

Toniq - tell Evan he'll have fun at school today coz of the snow - he can play out at playtime and that there'll be more later so he can play in the garden tonight. I used to like going to school in the snow - it was an adventure!

we have a bit of snow but is it just me who laughs at the media and their blizzards etc in england, everything comes to a standstill but us scots have to get on with it, its never reported when we have snow:rolleyes:

not meaning to offend though, hope you all enjoy your snow:T bring on the snow pics:D

gonna steam myself today to try and get rid of this nasty cough, oh and for all my diet buds have lost !!!!!! all this week either:rotfl:

And Splodz, was gonna say the same as the famous Al Mac, you have been doing loads of exercise and muscle is def denser than fat, so am sure it is a good sign as muscle at rest will burn more calories :j

Mr Mac, u r right, i remember the late 70's seeing proper snow!
Though when i lived in USA we had to have snow chains on the car and had to shovel our drive every night as u would get aleast 2 foot off snow over night, that was in minnesotta xxxx

Morning all ... we have a got 7 incehs of snow here, All london buses are cancelled, and my local tube station is closed due to severe weather! so i can't even get a bus to an open station ... looks like i'm off work today then! This is the worst snow i can remember seeing in London, there is so much of it!

This is Epsom now. Would love to go up to the racecourse today, but there's a foot of snow on top of my mini! Only one neighbour attempted to move their car this morning - and got nowhere!
